Monitor entrances and exits of the campus site Patrol the interior and exterior of the office premises Control access to the campus and maintaining a secure environment Deliver exceptional customer service to all staff and attendees Provide first aid services when needed Respond to emergency call-outs and alarms promptly Collaborate with authorities, participating in investigations and recoveries as necessary Maintain accurate incident reports, documenting instances of trespassing, vandalism, first aid events, assault, and other incidents and events Perform additional tasks as required The Ideal Candidate A valid security license is required OFA Level 2 certification is required Previous security experience is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills (proficiency in English) Ability to stand and walk for at least 8 hours per day Reliable transportation to the Vancouver location Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Experience: Security: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Security Guard Licence (required) OFA Level 2 (required) Work Location: In person
