Job Summary Are you a motivated individual looking to support your community Dollar Tree is seeking dedicated Sales Associates to help provide essential products at great values. In this role, you will be fully cross-trained to handle everything from front-end cash register operations to back-room stock replenishment. You are the face of our store, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience while maintaining the operational standards that keep our values great. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Maintain a high level of service by being friendly, pleasant, and cooperative with every customer and co-worker. Cashier Operations: Handle all sales transactions accurately while operating your assigned cash register and maintaining the security of all cash. Merchandising & Stocking: Assist in the merchandising of the store and perform stock replenishment to ensure products are available for our customers. Logistics & Receiving: Assist with unloading trucks and receiving merchandise in an organized and efficient manner. Loss Prevention: Protect all company assets and adhere to strict security policies and procedures. Safety & Compliance: Work in a safe manner at all times, upholding all store policies and following supervisor instructions to ensure a clean, productive environment. Qualifications & Skills Mathematical Skills: General math proficiency for accurate cash accounting and register operations. Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse customer base. Integrity: A high level of honesty and integrity is required, as you will be responsible for handling company assets and cash. Adaptability: Ability to be cross-trained in multiple departments and perform various tasks as assigned by store leadership. Preferred Experience Previous experience in Retail, Discount Stores, or Customer Service is a plus. Experience with Truck Unloading or Warehouse Receiving is beneficial.
