Position: Brine Reservoir Engineer - Location: Saudi Arabia Located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this is a full time expat role requiring full relocation to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.The primary purpose of the role is to develop and manage world‑class brine resources and subsurface reserves. You will provide specialized engineering services as part of customized reservoir management practices to maximize the extraction of mineral‑rich brines from oil‑field brines (such as lithium and other critical minerals) and optimize Net Present Value (NPV).ResponsibilitiesFormulate brine reservoir development, data acquisition, and sustainable extraction‑and‑reinjection strategies.Design and implement solutions for brine reservoir performance analysis, flow dynamics, and field development plans focusing on consistent mineral concentration yields.Supervise and support comprehensive reservoir modeling and simulation studies to identify optimal well spacing for both extraction and disposal/reinjection wells.Monitor operating expenses to operate and maintain wells to produce the highest volumes of mineral‑rich brine at the lowest cost.Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (geoscience, drilling, production) in planning and conducting reservoir field studies focused on fluid‑rock interactions and brine enrichment zones.Prepare requirements for well construction and develop designs for extraction and reinjection wells, providing technical assistance to drilling staff.Provide economic evaluation to support fast‑paced development decisions.Train and mentor young engineers and professionals within the department.Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Hydrogeology from an accredited university (Advanced degree preferred).10+ years of experience in reservoir engineering or advanced hydrogeology, including expertise in reservoir simulation, reserves management (preferably brine), and formation#J-18808-Ljbffr
