Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, as assigned. Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted behavior within the location. Assist with access control, crowd flow, and closing or opening procedures, while maintaining a professional presence and providing assistance to visitors, customers, and staff. Minimum Requirements: Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
