Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our sales and marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of account research, campaign development, and effective messaging targeted at our ideal customer profile (ICP). The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and a strong understanding of business factors and buyer journeys across industries. Key Responsibilities: Account Research: Conduct thorough research on target accounts to identify potential leads and understand their business needs. Marketing Campaigns: Write and develop compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with identified target accounts. Outbound with e-mail, LinkedIn, phone calls, etc. Precise Messaging: Craft clear and effective messaging tailored to specific target accounts, ensuring alignment with their needs and pain points. ICP Refinement: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine our ideal customer profile (ICP) based on insights gained from account research and buyer interactions. Buyer Journey Understanding: Demonstrate a strong understanding of business factors and buyer journeys across various industries to inform outreach strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and drive lead generation efforts. Self-Motivation & Resilience: Exhibit high energy, self-motivation, and resilience in pursuing leads and overcoming challenges. Technology Interest: Stay informed about industry trends, particularly in security and artificial intelligence, to effectively engage prospects. Attending Conferences: Participate at cybersecurity industry events (BSides, RSA, DEF CON, etc) as an active part of the lead-generation team and a professional representation of Escape. Qualifications: Previous experience in sales development or a related field is required. High level of organization and urgency in managing tasks and priorities. Strong research and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment. A genuine interest in technology, particularly in the areas of security and AI. Able to work from NYC office 2-3 days per week. Why Join Us? Job Summary:
