*Role: Lead Graphic Designer (Volunteer)*Organization: TEDxMaitama *Location:** Abuja (Hybrid/Remote) *Commitment:** Part-time (Project-based, leading up to event) *About TEDxMaitama** TEDxMaitama is a platform dedicated to sharing ideas worth spreading by bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Our events combine powerful storytelling, design, and community to spark meaningful conversations and impact. *Role Overview** The Lead Graphic Designer will drive the visual identity and creative direction of TEDxMaitama. This role goes beyond execution—you will lead the design team, ensure brand consistency, and translate ideas into compelling visuals that elevate the TEDx experience across digital and physical platforms. *Key Responsibilities***1. Creative Direction & Brand Leadership** Lead the visual storytelling for TEDxMaitama in line with TEDx global brand guidelinesDevelop and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platformsInterpret event themes into strong, memorable design concepts*2. Design Execution** Oversee the creation of all design assets including:Social media graphicsSpeaker announcement creativesEvent banners and promotional materialsPresentation templates and stage visualsEnsure high-quality, timely delivery of all design outputs*3. Team LeadershipManage and mentor a team of graphic designers and volunteersAssign tasks, review work, and provide constructive feedbackFoster a collaborative and creative working environment*4. Cross-Team CollaborationWork closely with Marketing, Partnerships, and Content teams to align visuals with messagingSupport campaign rollouts and event promotions with creative assets*5.
