Job Title: Screening Associate – Employment & Education Verification (US Process) Department: Verifications – Enterprise Shift: Night Shift (US Shift), Monday to Friday Location: Remote, India (Preferably looking for Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Nagpur, and Bangalore candidates) Job Summary We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Screening Associate to handle Employment and Education Verification for a US-based background screening process. The role requires direct interaction with employers and educational institutions, ensuring accurate validation of candidate information while complying with strict SLA, quality, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct employment verification by contacting HRs and authorized representatives via calls/emails Perform education verification with universities, institutions, and third-party databases Validate critical details such as designation, tenure, rehire eligibility, and qualifications Maintain complete and accurate documentation of verification outcomes and audit trails Follow US compliance protocols, verification scripts, and escalation frameworks Meet defined Turnaround Time (TAT), productivity, and quality benchmarks Handle inbound and outbound communication professionally in a US process Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases to senior team members Ensure strict confidentiality and data security for sensitive information Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory) Minimum qualification HSC Minimum 2 years of most recent experience in a US BPO/KPO background screening process is mandatory Experience in employment and/or education verification is must No employment gaps exceeding 3 months Comfortable working in night shifts (US timings) Preferred Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with US verification processes and compliance standards Ability to interact with US-based HRs and institutions High attention to detail and analytical ability Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience with screening tools or ATS platforms Behavioral Competencies High level of integrity and confidentiality Strong ownership and accountability Team-oriented and proactive attitude Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Performance Metrics Accuracy and quality scores Turnaround Time (TAT) adherence Productivity targets Compliance with process guidelines What We Offer Exposure to US background screening processes Career growth opportunities Training and development programs Professional work environment Note Candidates must provide complete documentation for employment and education history, including justification for any gaps.
