While our nurses and doctors are in the field, our office team ensures that every patient receives the care they deserve. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Volunteer to join our team and help us stay organized, compliant, and ready to serve. If you are organized, comfortable with computers, and want to support a compassionate cause without being at the bedside, this is the perfect role for you. What You’ll Do Data & Documentation: Assist with filing, data entry, and organizing patient records.Communication: Help with mailings, preparing information packets for new families, and occasional phone outreach.Office Support: Assist our clinical and volunteer coordinators with special projects and general office tasks.Make an Impact: By handling the "paperwork," you free up our medical staff to focus 100% on patient comfort.Flexible Scheduling Options We know your time is valuable. We are looking for a consistent commitment and can offer several schedule tracks: The Full Day: One 5-hour shift per week.The Split: Two 3-hour shifts per week.The Alternate: Every other week (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, or similar).Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday during standard business hours.Requirements As a Hospice Volunteer, you are a core part of our mission. To join us, you will need to: Complete our standard Hospice Volunteer onboarding and orientation.Pass a background check and health screening (provided by us).Maintain strict confidentiality and respect for patient privacy (HIPAA).Be comfortable using basic office software (Word, Excel, Email).“You don’t have to be at the bedside to touch a life.” Your organization skills ensure that no patient or family is ever left waiting.
