Role and Responsibilities: As a Customer Service Cashier, you will provide prompt, friendly, and professional checkout services that reflect Lowe's commitment to customer satisfaction. In addition to processing transactions, you may assist with store upkeep, support various departments, and address customer needs throughout the store. Deliver efficient, friendly, and professional checkout service.Assist customers in the self-checkout area.Accurately scan and bag merchandise.Operate a cash register, process payments, and manage exchanges.Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance when needed.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Carry out other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience: Basic reading, writing, and math skills.Ability to stand and sit for long periods.Experience using a computer for data entry and information retrieval.Ability to lift at least 10 lbs unassisted or over 15 lbs with or without accommodation.Meet any state-required sales-related licensure or registration requirements.Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in retail or customer service.Bilingual skills.Compensation and Benefits: Pay rates are based on factors such as role, location, education, training, and experience.
