As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in East Saint Louis, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and follow site protocols for restricted areas, deliveries, and contractor activity. Support day-to-day operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, completing required logs and reports, and assisting with orderly response during emergencies or disruptions. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
