This will include keeping the worksite clean through the collection of trash, operating power tools, setting up temporary structures, or other necessary tasks. Experience in tasks like siding, window installation, door installation, and knowledge of how to use a break is preferred. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. You must work well with others and aim to always work as a team Responsibilities Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous productsProvide assistance to onsite tradespeople such as sub crews, and carpentersPreform daily job tasks efficiently Transport materials and equipment from one location to anotherOperate power tools and/or industrial equipmentSet up cones, warning signs, and any other necessary material to increase visibility Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffoldingOther manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisorReport any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repairQualificationsAbility to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods xklufbp NYS License and transportation to job sites.Strong attention to detailExcellent hand-eye coordinationAT LEAST 1 year experience on a construction crewKnowledge of how to use a metal break and how to coil windows/doorsAbility to adhere to all safety rules and regulationsKnowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferredStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsAdditional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary
