We are looking for a motivated Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Mutakamela Insurance . In this role, you will support pricing, reserving, financial modeling, and risk analysis activities while helping ensure the financial strength and sustainability of our insurance products. You will work closely with teams across underwriting, finance, and product development to provide valuable insights that support business decisions. Key Responsibilities Support pricing analysis and assist in developing insurance product rates Perform claims and reserving analysis using actuarial methods Develop and maintain actuarial models for projections, stress testing, and scenario analysis Assist with solvency and capital calculations (e.g., IFRS 17, RBC) Contribute to reinsurance analysis and portfolio profitability reviews Prepare actuarial reports and presentations for management and regulatory purposes Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable business insights Ensure data accuracy and maintain high-quality actuarial reporting Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field Around 1 year of actuarial experience , preferably within an insurance company Progress toward actuarial certification (SOA, IFoA, or similar) is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) Familiarity with actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, MoSes, ResQ, or similar) Knowledge of R, Python, SQL, or VBA is advantageous Understanding of insurance principles and regulatory frameworks such as IFRS 17 and RBC What We Value Integrity and accuracy in analysis Strong attention to detailCuriosity and analytical thinkingAccountability and teamwork If you are interested, please apply now.
