LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE START. We are looking for a motivated, friendly and enthusiastic person to join our team at Putnams. We are a friendly, family-run business based in Langage industrial estate. This role is for someone to help prepare and dispatch our orders. The role is 5 days a week (37.5 hours), Monday to Friday. The day is from 08:45-16:45 with 2 x paid 10 minute breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. We produce foam, fibre, wool and latex based products such as pillows, cushions, back supports and mattresses. The main duties of the role include; Putting our sewing team's covers onto foam, fibre, wool and other inserts to make a finished product. Putting these finished products into different sized packaging with branded packaging slips. You will also organise the orders into boxes and mailing bags for our daily courier collections. The role requires you to help unload various deliveries and move, count and organise stock around the factory. Teamwork and communication are important in the packing department. All training will be provided. Please note this role requires; lifting, walking and working on your feet for most of the day. You will be working with wool and latex so if you have an allergy this role may not be suitable for you. We are looking for an immediate start and someone who can pick up processes quickly. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be quick with their hands when working.
