In this role, you will: Build innovative solutions that address the overall design, site navigation, and layout of content for various geographic audiences Code visually appealing and dynamic UIs for our browser-based and mobile front-ends Create Unit Tests and document your code Contribute or develop your SCRUM skills Participate in any other activities as needed! A relevant university or college degree 5+ year of experience in: CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jquery Experience with PHP, Responsive Design, AJAX, CSS Templating/Modularity Nice to have: CoffeeScript, Angular.js, Node/Npm, JSON/REST, SQL knowledge (MySQL), Linux UI/UX experience with a focus on web designs and/or mobile applications Knowledge of web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability An understanding of the principles behind personas, user experience, web navigation, user habits, current design trends, cross-browser and platform compatibility issues Bonus points for knowledge of a visual design tool: Photoshop, GIMP, Inkscape, InDesign or Illustrator, FontForge What you can look forward to An exciting and challenging position Lots of excitement and professional challenges to solve Unlimited opportunities to have real influence (no small cog in the big wheel here!)
