Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to materials handling, stock management, and shipping & receiving operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and mechanical knowledge within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with prior warehouse experience or those eager to learn and grow in the logistics industry. Duties Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively (training provided) Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to ensure accurate stock levels Prepare orders by picking, packing, and organising items for dispatch Assist with shipping & receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing goods Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to optimize space utilisation Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of product integrity Perform mechanical tasks related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times during daily operations Experience Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for all necessary equipment and systems Familiarity with materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting, is advantageous Knowledge of forklift operation or mechanical knowledge is desirable but not mandatory Experience with warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving procedures, or stock control will be considered an asset Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management and quality control processes This role offers a hands-on working environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are valued. Applicants should be prepared for physically active work that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
