Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors while performing armed security duties in accordance with post orders. Report to the Security Sergeant and follow all assigned instructions and directives from the Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain. Enforce Prosegur, client, and Texas DPS Level III security requirements consistently and professionally. Monitor and control access to client facilities and property, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas. Document activities and incidents accurately in daily logs, incident reports, and required paperwork. Perform duties that may include standing, walking, moderate lifting, and working in various weather conditions as an Armed Security Officer. Must comply with Prosegur, client, and Texas DPS Level III (Commissioned) armed security regulations. Possess a valid/current Texas Level III Commissioned Security License issued by the DPS Private Security Bureau. Maintain an appropriate firearm, holster, and duty gear in compliance with DPS standards. Successfully complete and maintain Level III training and firearms qualification through a DPS-approved training school. High School Diploma or GED. Valid Texas Level III Commissioned Security License. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military environments. Knowledge of security operations, post orders, and emergency response procedures. Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, WinTeam, report writing systems). Armed Security License Dental Insurance ~ Medical Insurance This position reports to Account Manager.
