Flexible Security Officer

Job summary We're currently recruiting for Security Officers to join our Bank. You'll work on a zero hour contract, giving you the flexibility over how and where you choose to work. We're looking for individuals that are able to deal with a variety of challenges and work effectively to maintain appropriate level of security with a view to protecting people, the property, and preventing and detecting crime for University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. Security officers may be required to work across all five sites this includes, Royal Derby Hospital, London Road Community Hospital, Queen Hospital Burton, Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital and Samuel Johnson Community Hospital . Zero hours per week - As and When Required Working Arrangements Interview Date: To Be Confirmed Main duties of the job The role can be physically and emotional demanding as you will work as part of a small team who oversee all clinical and non-clinical areas of the site to maintain a secure environment. We are the 4thbusiest Trauma & Orthopaedic outpatients department in England - an average of 2077 per week. An average of 1115 patients are seen in A&Es across our network every day - 3rd largest in the country. Our hospitals admit an average of 195 emergency patients daily. Last year we undertook almost 33,700 planned surgical operations in our 57 operating theatres. We are one of only 7 Trusts nationally with more than 50 operating theatres.
