Job Overview In this role, you will work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service while ensuring the safety, security, and health and safety of all individuals attending our corporate events. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment and responding to any incidents or emergencies that may arise. Your professionalism, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure will be key to your success in this role. Job Details: Position: Corporate Event Security OfficerLocation: East London (The Truman Brewery and Old Billingsgate, next to London Bridge)Employment Type: PAYE basis, zero hour contractWorking Hours: Full-time and part-time positions availableStarting Rate: £12.71 per hour (reviewed after 3 months)Pension: Available after 3 months of employment probationHoliday: Accrued maximum of 20 days + 8 days Bank Holiday in a calendar year (January 1st to December 31st)Main Duties and Responsibilities Conduct general patrolling and secure designated areas to prevent security breaches.Create accurate incident reports and effectively communicate with management.Ensure the safe entry and exit of visitors, preventing unauthorized access.Interact with the public and stakeholders, demonstrating integrity and respect.Greet customers and employees in a professional and courteous manner.Monitor crowd behaviour and respond promptly to disruptions or safety hazards.Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of all individuals.Requirements Valid SIA Door Supervisor license.Excellent communication skills.Proven customer service experience.Reliable and punctual.Fluent in English (written and spoken).Ability to work as part of a team and independently.Strong observational and problem-solving skills.Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.Previous experience in event security or a similar role is desirable but not essential.If you are dedicated, professional, and committed to ensuring the safety and security of others, we want to hear from you.
