Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or damage, and responding promptly to any incidents. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risksMonitor CCTV systems continuously to observe activity and ensure the safety of all areasImplement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behaviour and intervening when necessaryRespond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including providing first aid if requiredMaintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposesEnforce security policies and procedures consistently across all areas of the siteLiaise with law enforcement or emergency services in case of serious incidents or investigationsAssist visitors and staff with directions or queries in a professional mannerRequirements Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferredKnowledge of CCTV systems, alarm protocols, and loss prevention techniquesFirst aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessaryAbility to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergenciesStrong observational skills with an eye for detailExcellent communication skills and a professional demeanourPhysical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly when requiredMust be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as neededThis position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals committed to maintaining safety standards within a dynamic environment.
