## About us and this role Click Learning is tackling South Africa’s education crisis with smart, scalable solutions that make a real difference. We deliver interactive online programmes that boost literacy, numeracy, and digital skills for primary school learners in under-resourced communities. By combining technology with on-the-ground support, we help children build the foundations they need for long-term success and to build sustainable livelihoods. We also create jobs for previously unemployed youth to support in schools and provide skills development to move them into better employment opportunities. This strategic role is designed to re-engineer how Click Learning operates at scale. You will manage a larger-than-standard portfolio of 40 to 50 schools and shift our approach from day-to-day supervision to a data-driven, exception-based management model. The role focuses on keeping green schools green through automation and remote engagement, and using Business Intelligence (BI) to diagnose and intervene in underperforming sites. The advertised compensation for this position is R35k - R45k / month. ### What you will be asked to do You will create new processes and systems rather than simply following existing ones. That includes designing and documenting a 'Remote Management Handbook' to manage 40+ schools without losing quality, and working with the BI team to build dashboards that trigger automated warning flags and escalation protocols for schools falling below time targets. You'll implement push-based engagement strategies — webinars, bulk communication tools, and remote facilitator coaching — to reduce on-site travel requirements, and you will actively ideate and build new operational workflows in a sandbox environment. You will translate raw usage data into specific prescriptions: if a school is failing, you will identify whether the root cause is technical, a skill deficit, or a stakeholder buy-in issue. You will assume accountability for training within your portfolio, delivering targeted, bite-sized remediation (1:1 or small group) to close gaps identified by data, leveraging AI-focused and pre-recorded content. Quality control is important: maintain the 'Click standard' remotely and intervene physically only when data indicates a critical failure that remote protocols cannot fix. At a strategic level you will operate with District Officials using M&E data and impact storytelling to maintain regional buy-in, maintain trust with Principals across a wide geography using automated reporting, and shift facilitator management from supervision to engagement — managing a large remote team of facilitators through centralized communication channels and biometric/automated clock-in systems. - Success metrics include managing 40–50 schools (vs. the standard 25–30) while maintaining target dosage, percentage of portfolio retained in the 'Green' (high-performing) bracket through proactive remote flags, and delivering a documented scalable remote-management framework. ### Who we are looking for Experience (8+ Years Required). We need someone with proven experience managing 100+ staff or 40+ remote sites/outlets and with operational strategy experience that goes beyond following processes to building them from scratch. Deep experience using dashboards (G - Suite, Power. BI, or similar) to drive operational decisions is essential. Experience in the education/NGO sector is advantageous, but commercial operations experience (for example retail area management or tech-ops) is highly valued for this efficiency-focused role. Our ideal candidate brings an 'Architect' mindset — you enjoy building the plane while flying it and are comfortable in a sandbox environment where you define your own KPIs. You should be technically savvy, with a high comfort level with Ed. Tech, facial recognition/biometric systems, and AI-driven content tools. Strong communication skills are required: you need the ability to engage a District Director in the morning and troubleshoot with a facilitator in a rural lab in the afternoon. Above all, we want a self-starter who does not require prescriptive guidelines and who creates guidelines for others to follow. ### Location and work arrangement This role is based in East London, ZA and is designed to scale remotely: the emphasis is on remote engagement, automation, and exception-based physical intervention only when data indicates it is necessary. Experience required: 8+ Years. Compensation: R35k - R45k / month.
