Junior Business Analyst

Hyundai Automotive South Africa is looking for a Junior Parts Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the growth of the Parts business through data analysis, reporting, and forecasting. The role focuses on delivering accurate insights, maintaining databases, and assisting with performance tracking to drive revenue, efficiency, and business decision-making. Duties & Responsibilities: Sales Analysis & Reporting Analyse dealer sales and prepare reports by region and segment Compile weekly management meeting packs and presentations Prepare monthly HARP and sales analytical reports Maintain QlikView data and reporting systems Assist with calculations and settlement of stakeholder obligations (e.g. insurer rebates) Data Insights Perform data mining and analysis using Excel and relevant tools Present weekly and monthly insights with actionable recommendations Support value-added analytics for Sales and HARP Prepare KPI-based performance reports (financial and non-financial) Panel Rebates Ensure accurate and timely rebate calculations for dealers and HUBs Resolve rebate-related queries Collaborate with Finance for processing credit notes Database Management Maintain HARP, Sales, and Accessories databases Ensure data accuracy, validity, and completeness Support correct capturing of transactions in DMS systems General Perform ad hoc tasks as required Skills Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Strong organisational and multitasking ability Results-driven with a deadline-focused approach Systems-oriented and proactive mindset Resilient, positive, and self-motivated Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Commerce or relevant qualification Minimum 2 years’ experience in an analytical/reporting role (automotive or insurance preferred) Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Advantageous: Experience with DMS, Autoline Drive, or Automate systems Commercial and operational business understanding Additional Information: Strong focus on data accuracy and reporting Opportunity to contribute to business growth through insights and analytics Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Dealer networks
