You'll be part of a small team, requiring a high degree of autonomy, strong technical judgment, and the ability to span across the data stack, from pipeline development to business metrics and tools. **Key Responsibilities** Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and CS business owners to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that support customer service initiativesTransform raw data into core business metrics using big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink) on medium to large-scale data sets (10s of millions of records)Work with custom visualization tools to surface CS insights and inform business decisionsDesign and implement data models that are adaptable to changes in the source data or business processesDevelop and maintain advanced SQL skills and advocate for data qualityAnalyze business problems and prioritize autonomously to drive data-driven decision-makingCommunicate effectively with analysts, engineers, and business leaders to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of results**Essential Qualifications** At least 4 years of experience engineering data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink) on medium to large-scale data sets (10s of millions of records)Strong data modeling skills, with the ability to design structures that are adaptable to changes in the source data or business processesStrong proficiency in Python or Scala, with a passion for writing clean, supportable codeAdvanced SQL skills, with a focus on data quality and advocacyAnalytical aptitude, with the ability to think through business problems and prioritize autonomouslyStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with analysts, engineers, and business leaders**Preferred Qualifications** Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniquesStrong understanding of data governance and security principlesCertification in data engineering or a related field**Skills and Competencies** Strong technical skills in data engineering, including big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink) and data modelingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and prioritize autonomouslyStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality resultsStrong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality and accuracy**Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** careerzynith offers a comprehensive learning and development program, with opportunities for professional growth and advancementCollaborate with experienced data engineers and software engineers to develop your skills and expertiseParticipate in regular training and development sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trendsOpportunities to work on high-impact projects and contribute to the development of careerzynith's data science and analytics capabilities**Work Environment and Company Culture** careerzynith is a remote-first company, with a flexible and adaptable work environmentCollaborate with a talented and diverse team of data engineers, software engineers, and CS business ownersParticipate in regular team-building activities an
