Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or public agencies as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions requiring attention. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify authorized access when required, and document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with site expectations. Support order at the location by providing directions, assisting with crowd and/or visitor flow, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
