Industrial Relations Ability to lead, train, and manage performance of all subordinates to ensure high morale, productivity, and retention. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Main purpose of the role This role will be responsible for the leading and control of an operation at DSV Park, Plumbago Distribution Centre. Duties and Responsibilities Daily Tasks Oversee VAS Outbound Operations: Ensure that all client orders are processed accurately and shipped on time according to customer requirements. Daily Reporting to Management: Provide updates on VAS order status, stock levels, order accuracy, and any fulfillment issues. Monitor and Report on Attendance of Staff: Ensure adequate staffing for VAS operations to meet daily fulfillment targets. Conduct Hourly Floor Walks: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and monitor VAS workflows (picking, packing, shipping). Drive the Team to Meet Daily VAS Targets: Ensure the team is on track to meet daily KPIs related to order fulfillment speed, accuracy, and quality. Ensure 5S Compliance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in VAS areas (picking stations, packing zones). Ensure Adherence to SPQRCE: Monitor processes for accuracy and consistency, ensuring VAS operations meet company standards. Reward Good Behavior: Recognize top performers for meeting or exceeding VAS targets, and implement "employee of the month" rewards when applicable. Manage Disciplinary Action: Address any performance or behavior issues related to VAS tasks such as picking errors, delays, or non-compliance with processes. Keep Management Informed: Report daily on any challenges impacting VAS operations, such as order discrepancies or inventory shortages. Assist in Physical Operations: Step in when necessary to support VAS order fulfillment or resolve operational challenges. Maintain Team Motivation: Ensure that the team stays focused on delivering high-quality service to customers while maintaining morale. Weekly Tasks Create and Maintain VAS Reports: Generate weekly reports on KPIs, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and returns, and present them to management. Investigate and Complete CAPA Documents: Investigate any discrepancies, errors, or quality issues in VAS processes (e.g., wrong shipments, stock discrepancies) and implement corrective actions. Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Review VAS processes with the team and implement changes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance service.
