As part of our team, you will deliver a comprehensive 24/7 frontline security service across the organisation. No prior security experience is required--we provide full, comprehensive training to the right candidate. In this role, you will: Prevent and detect crime and anti-social behaviour. Ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors on Trust premises. Protect Trust property and assets. Respond promptly to all security and fire alerts. You will primarily be based at one of the Trust's hospitals, with occasional duties at the other site as required. Responsibilities include: Assisting in the prevention of crime and anti-social behaviour. Conducting proactive internal and external patrols. Securing buildings and performing general car park duties. Responding to emergency incidents, including fire alarms. Managing challenging situations involving patients or members of the public in a calm and professional manner. Role Details Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Annual Leave: Starting at 27 days plus 8 bank holidays. Location: Preston and Chorley Hospital sites. Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off rotating shifts, covering all operational hours, including nights and weekends. Enhancements: Unsocial hours and weekend enhancements apply.
