Benefits Full benefits package for full-time employees Retirement savings plan Exciting, supportive and fun work environment Family and friends discounts on travel, tech, food, beverage, and fitness Development and training opportunities Qualifications One year or more experience in customer service WHMIS Knowledge of food and beverage service Ability to present and conduct themselves in a professional manner Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register Ability to work as a team or independently Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Key Responsibilities Work as a team to provide exceptional guest service providing important visual cues for guests that make a positive first impression Delivers consistent and outstanding guest service through friendly attitude, attentive behaviour, and strong product knowledge Ensures every guest receives a prompt and warm greeting within 5 seconds at the front counter Prepares all products as required, minimizing food waste, through production of smaller quantities of food more often throughout the day Records prepared items and waste on production sheet Follows the guaranteed Always fresh procedure to ensure coffee, sandwich and bakery products are always baked fresh and always accurate Ensures that all products are prepared and served to the Tim Hortons recipe specification Uses proper procedures to ensure the accuracy of every order for every guest Maintains speed of service targets by working efficiently with a sense of urgency to fill orders and meet guests needs Promptly executes service recovery for any guest concerns or complaints by making it right with the guest regardless of involvement in the issue Maintains and demonstrates expert knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, specials, events and promotions across the property Regularly takes temperatures of the required products and records in the Time and Temperature log Monitors fridge and freezer product inventory and submits order quantities Ensures showcase and product needs are always up to par Performs all job duties in a safe and responsive manner Adhere to all Tim Hortons quality standards and principles and all Casino Rama policies Responsible for keeping all work surfaces, chillers and small equipment clean, organized and sanitized Ensures all uniform and grooming standards are followed on each shift Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Statement Gateway is a proud equal opportunity employer and dedicates itself to Respect, Integrity, Team-Work and Exceptional Customer Service.
