THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team. This role requires a motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills both written and oral. The warehouse operative will be responsible for a range of duties within the warehouse environment including (but not exclusively) shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory, completing paperwork, forklift operation and quality control. Essential Job Functions Making sure stock and supplies are received, booked in and stored correctly.Pick orders in an accurate and time efficient manner.Have good attention to detail, ensuring items and work are completed with minimal errors.Packing items ready for dispatch ensuring labels and invoices are printed and correct.Loading / Unloading vehicles. Carry out required cycle-counts for the department to meet its targets on pick-accuracy.Ensure chemicals and spares are kitted correctly as required.Quality Control of incoming goods · Maintaining a clear and tidy warehouse, ensuring any potential hazards are dealt with safely, quickly, and efficiently.
