A boutique wealth management firm in Polokwane, Limpopo requires a Chartered Accountant for holistic financial planning and investment advice. You will conduct needs analyses, develop tailored plans, recommend investment and insurance products, and conduct regular portfolio reviews. The role services a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. Responsibilities Mentor and develop finance team members, conducting performance reviews, identifying training needs, and fostering continuous improvement. Manage cash flow and working capital effectively, including preparing cash flow forecasts and managing banking relationships. Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board on financial performance, risk, and growth opportunities. Lead and manage the external audit process, preparing audit files, responding to queries, and ensuring timely sign-off of financial statements. Develop annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts, monitoring performance and providing variance analysis with detailed commentary. Ensure full compliance with all tax legislation and regulatory requirements, managing preparation and submission of all tax returns. Requirements A minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in financial management, investment analysis, or a related field. Strong commercial awareness and business acumen to understand the broader context of financial decisions. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics with an honours degree or postgraduate qualification strongly preferred. A professional accounting or finance qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, CFA, ACCA, or an equivalent recognised designation. For credit roles, thorough understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies and experience with credit rating models. Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis using Microsoft Excel including building integrated three-statement models. In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, tax legislation, and the Companies Act in South Africa. Qualifications Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Finance or Accounting
