A fleet management company in Bloemfontein, Free State is hiring a Inventory Clerk to oversee operation and maintenance of a large vehicle fleet. You will schedule servicing and repairs, manage fuel consumption and costs, monitor driver behaviour, and ensure all vehicles are licensed and roadworthy. Fleet management software experience is desirable. Responsibilities Supervise warehouse staff including pickers, packers, and forklift drivers, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently. Plan and coordinate transportation activities including route planning, load consolidation, carrier selection, and delivery scheduling. Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system by processing all stock movements and conducting cycle counts. Manage vehicle fleet maintenance and servicing schedule, ensuring all vehicles are serviced on time and kept roadworthy. Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and customers to coordinate smooth flow of goods across the supply chain. Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatching to meet productivity targets. Prepare and process all import and export documentation including customs declarations, bills of entry, and shipping instructions. Requirements Knowledge of South African customs regulations, import and export procedures, and Incoterms for international logistics. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems, transport management systems, or ERP systems such as SAP. A valid driver's licence is essential; own transport may be required for roles involving site visits or shift work. A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, transport management, or a related field. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Qualifications National Diploma in Transport or Fleet Management
