Mission Ensures plant production target of 6-10 million cuttings at Mountain Home Nursery is achieved. Manages all clonal and seedling plant deliveries from external nursery operations ensuring optimal quality prior to dispatch. Ensures that all buildings and nursery facilities at Mountain Home Nursery are optimally utilized and professionally maintained. Provide extended support to all Mondi Holding nurseries in the Midlands Region to ensure that plant quality and handling is optimal for field deployment. Conducts monthly stock take of all plants, seedling trays & consumable stock. Ensures that annual financial and production budgets are achieved. Ensures good Financial Compliance, Corporate Governance and Asset Management at Mountain Home Nursery. Ensures that the Mountain Home Nursery facilities comply with Mondi SHEQ standards. Coaches and mentors the nursery staff. Your Profile Bachelor’s Degree / BTech in Forestry, Horticulture or Agriculture qualification Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Forestry or Production Nursery operation Previous nurseries or tree improvement experience preferable. Excellent communication skills, work independently & self-motivated. Sound business acumen & financial management. Possess Analytical disposition. Ability to manage technical projects within multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to perform minor maintenance on nursery or agriculture equipment. Ability to calibrate and operate nursery seeding machines & irrigation systems. Ability to interact with management, contractors, technical support staff and labour at all. levels. Computer literate (SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Valid code EB drivers’ license. About this role

Mission
