This is a key role in our company. The dispatcher is often the first interaction customers have with us and plays a major role in delivering the 5-star service experience our company is known for. MSI – Mark Sheets Irrigation is a growing, family-owned irrigation service company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Pinellas County. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, organized operations, and reliable technicians.Our company prioritizes delivering a 5-star customer experience. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and professional Service Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator to manage incoming customer communication and efficiently schedule our field technicians throughout Pinellas County. The person in this role will often be the first interaction customers have with our company and will play a key role in maintaining our reputation. Strong communication and professionalism are essential. We are looking for someone with strong home-services experience, top-tier customer communication skills, and the ability to help maintain and generate 5-star customer reviews. The ideal candidate wants to grow with the company and help build a well-run office operation, with potential to advance into an Office Manager role as the company expands. This role is critical to keeping our operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, patient, and excellent with customers while also able to coordinate technicians and schedule appointments efficiently. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in staying highly organized, and feels comfortable managing multiple tasks and conversations throughout the day. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, communicating clearly with customers and technicians, and keeping schedules running smoothly. Schedule Monday – Friday 8AM - 4PM This position is remote, however applicants must reside in Pinellas County, Florida and be able to attend monthly in-person meetings in Pinellas. In-person training will be required during the first week. Training will take place in Pinellas County. Pay $20 – $24 per hour depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Customer Communication • Answer inbound calls from residential and commercial customers (20–50 calls per day depending on season) • Communicate with property managers, HOA board members, and residential customers by phone, email, and text • Return calls and make outbound calls as needed • Respond to customer messages, texts, and emails • Keep customers updated on technician arrival times and service status Scheduling & Dispatch • Efficiently schedule irrigation technicians based on location, job type, and priority • Optimize technician routes throughout Pinellas County • Coordinate closely with field technicians throughout the day • Communicate schedule updates and job changes quickly and clearly • Quickly become proficient with the company’s CRM and scheduling software Customer Management • Take clear and detailed job notes • Determine whether callers need an estimate, service call, or technician callback • Onboard new customers and enter information into the CRM system • Maintain organized and accurate job records Administrative & Operations Support • Assist with improving company organization and internal systems • Help implement processes to improve efficiency • Assist with additional administrative tasks as time permits • Help train future office staff as the company grows • Help ensure all customer follow-ups are completed in a timely manner and that all communication loops are closed This role has strong growth potential, including the opportunity to advance into an Office Manager position as the company expands. Required Qualifications • 2+ years dispatching or scheduling experience in a home services industry (HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, etc.) • Fluent spoken and written English • Excellent phone presence and customer service skills • Strong organizational and multitasking ability • Ability to remain calm and professional during busy call periods • Strong computer skills and typing ability • Experience with CRM or scheduling software • Highly reliable, punctual, and responsible • Quick learner with strong problem-solving ability • Ability to communicate clearly with technicians and customers • Must reside in Pinellas County, Florida Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with Pinellas County roads, neighborhoods, and zip codes • Experience using software such as Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Salesforce, or similar CRM/scheduling systems • Experience working with property managers or HOA clients Remote Work Requirements • Must reside in Pinellas County, FL • Reliable high-speed internet • Quiet and professional home work environment • Ability to participate in video calls with team members (camera on) • Consistent work availability during scheduled hours This role requires full attention during work hours. Applicants must have a dedicated workspace and should not plan to provide childcare or manage other household responsibilities while handling calls and scheduling.
