Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrance points, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards according to post orders.Support retail loss prevention efforts by documenting incidents, assisting with de-escalation when needed, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.Must be 21+ years of age.CPR certification is preferred.Access control/badge experience is preferred.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
