A growing organisation in George, Western Cape is seeking a HR Manager to manage the full spectrum of HR functions. You will handle recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and labour legislation compliance. The successful candidate will shape company culture and support business objectives through effective people management. Responsibilities Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary hearings, grievances, incapacity processes, and performance improvement. Coordinate training and development activities including identifying needs, sourcing providers, and evaluating effectiveness. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks, and employment offers. Maintain and update the HR information system and employee files, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with data protection. Provide advice to line managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation for fair application. Requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism. A minimum of two to five years of progressive experience in a generalist or specialist HR role within an organisation. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when processing payroll and maintaining employee records. Experience with payroll processing and payroll software such as Sage 300 People, VIP Payroll, or an equivalent system. A diploma or degree in human resource management, industrial psychology, or a related field from a recognised institution. Thorough knowledge of South African labour legislation including the LRA, BCEA, and Employment Equity Act. For recruitment roles, proven ability to source candidates using various methods and experience with applicant tracking systems. Qualifications Bachelor of Social Science in Industrial Psychology
