Job Overview We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities through surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and implementing loss prevention measures. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify any suspicious activity or security breaches Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to oversee all areas of the site effectively Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and unauthorised access Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary Maintain accurate logs of incidents, patrols, and security checks Enforce site policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when required Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff courteously while maintaining security protocols Qualifications Valid SIA licence is essential for this role Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security operations preferred Knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring techniques First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrol duties effectively This position offers an engaging opportunity for dedicated individuals committed to safeguarding assets and ensuring a secure environment.
