We're looking for a qualified Registered Nurse Charge Nurse like you to join our department in Med Surg working Fulltime Nights Position Highlights Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work environment: BU GI GU Surgical Unit Work hours: Full-time Nights, 36 hours weekly 7p-7a - Rotating Weekends/Holidays Justin 4 - GI GU Surgical Unit Justin 4 is a 36‑bed surgical unit that will care for colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urology surgery patients. On August 10, the unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year. Patients may be admitted pre‑ or post‑operatively, with an average length of stay of approximately five days. RN staffing ratio: 1:4 PCT staffing ratio: 1:12 Positions require 12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is a 726-bed, Magnet-designated regional referral center that has served the residents of Tarrant County and surroundings communities since 1930. Hospital services include cardiovascular care, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, neonatal intensive care, and trauma/emergency medicine. In early 2014, Texas Health Fort Worth opened a new 75,000 square foot Emergency Services Center, one of the largest in the region. Texas Health Fort Worth has more than 4,000 employees, 200 volunteers and nearly 1,000 physicians on its medical staff. Texas Health Fort Worth recently received national recognition for its oncology program and was named 'Best Place to Have a Baby' in Tarrant County. The hospital is also a designated Cycle III Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers Education Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref Experience 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. Education
