Location: Galway Salary: €48,000 per annum The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Restaurant Junior Sous /Sous Chef in Galway. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven chef to join a high-performing kitchen specialising in premium steak and seafood offerings. The role will support the Head Chef in leading a busy kitchen operation, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and high culinary standards. Our client is a well-established and reputable restaurant known for its focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and exceptional dining experiences. The Duties: Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchenLead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes consistentlyEnsure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standardsManage stock control, ordering, and waste managementMaintain strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standardsAssist in menu development, particularly within steak and seafood offeringsTrain and develop junior kitchen staffEnsure smooth service during busy periods and maintain operational efficiencyThe Must Requirements to be Considered: Must have experience in HospitalityMust have experience in a Sous Chef role or be ready to step forward in their careerStrong experience in high-volume, quality-driven kitchens (steak/seafood experience desirable)Excellent leadership and communication skillsStrong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operationsLiving in Ireland and have the right to work in ROIVisa and Relocation packages are not providedSalary & Benefits: Salary: €48,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)Opportunities for career progression within the companyAccess to professional development and training programsA dynamic and supportive working environment
