Responsibilities One key responsibility of the CSO is preventing data breaches, phishing, and malware, by developing robust safety protocols and crisis management. Building a comprehensive security program that includes physical safety security. Reviewing existing security measures and updating protocols as needed. Overseeing the daily operations of the company to identify potential security risks and room for improvements. Managing, evaluating, and resolving any physical security incidents or breaches. Ensuring that the company's security policies comply with federal laws and legislations. Presenting risk assessments and improved security policies to management team members. Working with management to develop and implement an appropriate budget for security programs. Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures. Coordinates the safety and security programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment. Evaluates the effectiveness of safety and security programs. Reviews current safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates. Submits recommendations for improvements and additions to the safety management program including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, general safety, and risk management. Stops operations and activities that could harm staff or equipment. Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems. Shares environmental safety information with appropriate levels in the organization periodically. Prepares and implements departmental budget. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules. Periodic shuffling of security personnel formation Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor Degree in Arts, or related degree of study. Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience Must be a Retired Military Personnel or Retired Police Officer with 10 - 15 years background experience and is willing to travel to all company's other locations regularly to oversee the security units and guards in all locations. Must reside around Mowe, Ikorodu and its environs. Core Competencies: Strategic Thinking & Execution Leadership & Management Security Guards Security Operational Efficiency Access Control & Monitoring Strong Decision-Making Skills.
