Introduction To take responsibility for all Programme Management and Project Management aspects of organization’s purpose-built bulk infrastructure /capital projects that contribute to the fulfilment of the mandate of our client. Duties & Responsibilities A minimum of 5 years’ experience within core discipline (water sector) and 5 years in management (for Bachelor of Science in Engineering) or A minimum of 8 years’ experience within core discipline (water sector) and 10 years in management (for Bachelor of Technology in Engineering). Desired Experience & Qualification Matric with Bachelor of Science in Engineering (NQF Level 7) or Bachelor of Technology in Engineering (NQF Level 7) Professional Project Management registration /certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr CPM) with SACPCMP KEY PERFORMANCE: Lead departmental strategy and operational planning Set up and monitor project and programme management standards Lead end-to-end programme management activities at strategic and operational levels Build professional networks for learning and knowledge-sharing Perform general functional management and administrative activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. FORMANCE AREAS: Ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects involving multi-disciplinary teams, including vendor/contractor management Advanced end-user computing skills in MS Office and Project Management Applications (MS Project, Primavera) Proficiency in written and verbal communication Applied knowledge of Project Management Methodologies (PRINCE2 or PMBOK) Working knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering systems Applied knowledge of PFMA, end-to-end supply chain management practices, CIDB/SANS standards Knowledge of water legislation and water industry in general Knowledge of survey, land servitudes and similar disciplines Ability to prepare and manage tenders and contract documentation (GCC, NEC, FIDIC) Sound knowledge of OHS Act and other relevant legislation Strong financial acumen Package & Remuneration R1 700 000.00 - 1 950.000.00 (p/a)
