An NGO in Kimberley, Northern Cape is hiring a Project Manager to coordinate community development projects. You will develop proposals and budgets, mobilise community participation, monitor implementation, manage donor relationships, and prepare reports. Development sector experience and a passion for social impact are ideal. Responsibilities Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Develop and manage detailed project schedules using project management software, identifying critical path activities and tracking progress. Manage relationships with project stakeholders including clients, sponsors, team members, and vendors, ensuring clear communication. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria through quality assurance and quality control processes. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining registers and implementing mitigation and contingency plans. Facilitate regular project status meetings and prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholder groups. Conduct project closure activities including lessons learned sessions, final reporting, and handover of deliverables to operations. Requirements Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies with ability to apply the appropriate approach. A recognised project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or CAPM from an accredited certification body. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to make sound judgements under pressure. Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and direct cross-functional project teams. Strong financial acumen including experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for projects. Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or Monday.com for planning and tracking. Qualifications Scrum Master or PMI-ACP Certification for Agile Projects
