Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a service and repair technician in Round Rock. Looking for an experienced individual that has knowledge and experience in a troubleshooting and manufacturing atmosphere. Background experience in plumbing or electrical is preferred but not required. This position is primarily responsible for servicing and repairing washing machines.As a service and repair technician you’ll be responsible for:Inspects, evaluates, and repairs steam generators.Works with other repair technicians to determine the problem that is occurring.Records, verifies, and documents information for each order.Cleaning, rebuilding, and replacing electrical and mechanical devices.Maintains work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follows safety protocols.Track time spent on all repair projects and material used during the repair.What you’ll need:The knowledge and ability to use a variety of power, pneumatic, and hand tools.Has a background of working with electrical and plumbing.Great organizational and time management skills.Ability to read wiring schematics and drawings.Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently.Demonstrates a sense of urgency and attention to detail.Must know how to use hand tools & power tools.1+ Years in a service repair environment.Must be able to pass a drug test.Perks:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceGrowth opportunities! $18.00 per hour Click on Apply Now to be considered for this technician job in North Austin, or visit our website www.openwork.com to search for other opportunities that are currently available.
