In this role you will: Drive profitable cards sales growth, responsible for card customers’ life cycle management from on boarding till retention covering activation and ongoing engagement. Own cards KPIs related to activation and spends Support to design & implement strategies to achieve engagement targets, spend activation. Deploy data backed insights to identify targets & execute actions. Establish a close working relationship with stakeholders and delivery partners, actively managing dependencies between teams and other projects and programs. Identify & lead capabilities efforts to deploy customer centric digital solutions, new product(s) opportunities. Ensure compliance of relevant regulations & company policies Support to x-sell/scale Personal loans to the existing book Ensure Cards policies and processes are fair, compliant, customer-centric and commercially sustainable across all stages of the customer life cycle and engagement activities. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit observations together with any issues raised by external regulators. Focus on improving cards spends and revenues Adopt the Value Streams and Agile ways of working to efficiently deliver products and process streamlining to both clients and frontline colleagues The role holder is responsible for Portfolio Management of Propositional Cards and grow the spend Provide management direction to achieve a high level of employee engagement. Ensure the business is managed within the requirements of the GSM and FIMs and within an operational risk framework. Provides strong oversight over all regulatory and compliance matters, including the management of risk for Cards Products To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements: Graduation degree is REQUIRED – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics/Statistics, or a related field. Preferably 2 years of Banking experience in retail Product, portfolio, risk, Finance, Distribution or Marketing function with preferably 2 years of cards product and portfolio experience. Knowledge and experience of a retail banking business in an emerging market Excellent customer relationships Strong analytical skills Communication and engagement skills Consultative approach to decision making Ability to gain consensus and agreement between geographically diverse countries and cultures HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years’ contract would be issued. In this role you will:
